A blend of classic and contemporary silhouettes for fashion-forward individuals that pay homage to the ʻāina, kānaka, ʻōlelo, and moʻolelo of Hawaiʻi.

Keha Hawaiʻi has been a lifelong dream of designer Kaʻanoʻi Akaka. Since the age of ten, she has designed and sewn Hawaiian apparel that honor the land, native people, language, practices, and stories of Hawaiʻi. Her passion for Hawaiian knowledge integrated with her experience in fashion design and construction produce seasonal releases of custom- and collection-based garments.  

“Keha” is part of Kaʻanoʻi’s full name, and can be translated in numerous ways including “dignity” and “prominent.” May this name serve as a reminder to us that like our kūpuna, we shall always strive for excellence in all that we do, and look toward the people, places and things greater than ourselves for purpose, guidance, and inspiration.
